US Open Cup
Phx Rising Vs San Ramon 4-0
Phoenix Rising rose on top vs San Ramon in their home US Open Cup Match. Phoenix Rising will now face San Jose on April 18th in California.
History Made!
Anthony Capetillo
Anthony Capetillo is apart of Rising academy soccer team, when Anthony was called up for todays game he was excited for his debut, little did he know he would make history and be the youngest goal scorer in Phoenix Rising history as a 16 year old.
Leadership from our Captain
Charlie Dennis
With a ton of fresh talent on the starting 11, keeping it all together and cohesive is a tough task,
Dennis lead and carried the team to a 4-0 win Tuesday night.
Late drama
Gunnar Studenhofft
Gunnar was fouled in the box from San Ramos goal keeper Echeverria and the ref decided not to award Rising with a penalty kick, this would'nt have changed the outcome of the game, but would have likely given another young player a chance to score on the main stage.
